A message from collector Arturo Art Mendoza: Over the years I have enjoyed the art scene in Fresno, CA and have been fortunate to witness it flourish in the past years and it continues to grow with excitement. I have treasured the many friends and community supporting the arts and theatre and I am honored to consider some of the local artist on display dear friends. I hope you enjoy this exhibition of some of Fresno's finest hidden treasures as I do.

A message from artist Jose Alejo: Art has always been a therapeutic and introspective process for me. Through my work I attempt to reflect and integrate both the challenging and the positive aspects of my life into a coherent history. My body of work is an attempt at personal honesty. Blissful states as well as sorrowful states are equal subjects of my work. “Stand ins” facilitate my ability to explore versions of my self in ways that are not entirely confrontational. In doing so I approximate inner truths.
